As President of Independence Incorporated, Victor maintains an active and varied caseload, assisting clients with the management of complex medical, rehabilitation and return to work issues. Services delivered include:
- counseling individuals as they adjust to disabilities and the resulting impact on their ability and/or inability to work
- coordination of programs of rehabilitation including arranging specialized assessments, and facilitating the resulting recommendations
- consensus and team building amongst key stakeholders in the return to work process, including employees, employers, care providers and insurers
Over the past 19 years as a Registered Nurse, Victor has become well known in the community for his client focused and comprehensive approach to disability case management. He brings a unique perspective and ability to assess and remove barriers to recovery and return to work plans. This includes facilitating a wide range of return to work scenarios despite inherently complex rehabilitation challenges. Services provided in English and Victor is also fluent in Spanish.

Kathleen is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional with the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. She has an education which focuses on conflict resolution, psychology and adult education. She has:
- 20 years experience in the private rehabilitation sector
- 3 years experience working in the public insurance sector
- vocational rehabilitation services for a client population with the following disabilities: physical, psychological/psychiatric, traumatic brain injury, developmental and learning
- experience working with clients in crisis (i.e., suicidal or threatening)

Continuing education includes Professional Leadership and Development, Adult Learning and Conflict Resolution. A double Bachelor’s degree in English and History provide a strong background in writing and research.

Ali is a practicing physiotherapist, registered with the College of Physiotherapists, (CPM) and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) including the Pain Division. She completed her education in Australia, U.K. and Canada. Her practice of physiotherapy over the past 20 years has focused on the management of musculoskeletal conditions, especially those that are accompanied by persistent pain.

Margot is a Certified Management Accountant with over 25 years of experience with organizations ranging from sole-proprietors to large corporations. She joined Independence Incorporated in 2005 and is responsible for all accounting functions, including invoicing, cash receipts, accounts payable, budgeting & forecasting and financial statement preparation. Margot thoroughly enjoys working with such a wonderful caring team in this vibrant, growing business
